Create some heart shapes following this simple tutorial. Connect the hearts together to make a romantic necklace, which is suitable not only for Valentine’s Day.

Step 1: Cut about 80 cm of fishing line. String 4 red beads R6 and tie the two ends together. Pass the needle through the base circle several times.
Step 2: Pick up 1 red R6 bead and pass the needle through the adjacent R6 bead at the bottom. Thus, add 1 R6 bead between each base bead, so there are only 4 beads in this step.
Step 3: Pull the line out of the R6 bead added in Step 2. Pick up 3 red R6 beads and pass the needle through the next R6 bead added in the second row. Repeat 3 times. When adding the last three R6 beads, pass the needle not only through the R6 bead added in the second row but also through the R6 bead added in the third row.
Step 4: Pass the needle through three R6 beads as shown in the photo. Skip one R6 bead to form a sharp “tip” and pass through the next three beads. Repeat this around the entire circumference, but at the last stage, pass the needle through four R6 beads so that the needle comes out from the “top”.
Step 5: Pick up 7 red R6 beads and pass the needle through the next R6 “peak”. Do it one more time. You can strengthen the heart by checking all the beads in this row again.
Step 6: Tie the two ends of the fishing line and hide it in the nearest bead, then cut off the rest. The heart is ready! Weave several hearts in different shades and assemble them into keychains, earrings or necklaces.
